Yes, I do believe in Fairies and worked, for many years, with energy in different forms.  Initially, I worked with healing energy for a number of years and loved coaching others and being part of their journey.  During healing sessions I would 'see' and 'hear' higher beings helping me which, in turn, lead me naturally into listening and channelling different higher beings.  I had also been attending meditating and channelling evenings and workshops with my wonderful mentor, Shirley Battie. 

 

In addition, having had a long career with Bournemouth and Poole College of FE in Businesss and Marketing, within the service industries, during which I needed to write articles for newspapers and magazines, I also qualified with the Instititue of Reflexology as a Certified Relexologist. As I came towards the end of my time at The College, I found myself channelling by way of automatic writing.  When I put pen to paper the words would flow and this is what happened with my first poem, 'How Fairies Began' and the other fairy poems followed one by one, although not all of them are now included in this book.  

 

I am very lucky to have a very close cousin, Jane, with whom I spent much of my childhood and who is a very talented artist. She has kindly bought my poems to life with her delightful illustrations. 

 

I hope children and adults alike enjoy these poems as much as I did writing them.
